Scholarship Available

MGC offers a grant for its Sring 2009 term. Any artist who has not previously worked at MGC is eligible to apply (printmaking experience is not required).

• Scholarship request is due November 15. 
  

The grant consists of a tuition waiver for 12 weeks of class and open workshop and a $100 materials stipend. We offer classes
in silkscreen, monoprint, etching, lithography and other printing techniques. To apply you only need to send the following 6 things:

• 6 digital images on a disk or slides of your art work.
  Do not send original or Xeroxed work.
• On separate sheet of paper, list the work, with title, dimensions, media and date.
• Resume.
• A copy of your most recent IRS return (or a copy of the return in which you are listed as a dependent).
• A statement of why you wish to work at Manhattan Graphics Center. (Please let us know how you found out about this grant.)
• Enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope for slide return.

Interviews will be requested with finalists; however, we invite you to visit the studio at your convenience.

Monday, 6 pm - 10 pm
Tuesday through Friday, 10 am - 10 pm
Saturday and Sunday, 10 am - 6 pm
