Class Description

NEW This safer intaglio workshop will cover fundamentals of various electro-etching techniques. Participants will learn how to safely prepare their copper plates, mix proper solutions, maintain a non-toxic work environment and execute their electrolytic process. The class will introduce electro-line and electro-tint techniques equivalent to traditional etching, and aquatint methods. Students will work with BIG ground and other safer solutions throughout the duration of the workshop. Participants will print a small edition of their prints as well as gain the knowledge and confidence to set up their own electro-etching tank in their studio. $350 + $75 material fee Limited to 6 Students Members get 10% Use code MEMBER10


Cancellation Policy

STUDENT CLASS CANCELLATION If a student must drop out of a class, 75% of tuition will be refunded as long as MGC is notified 15 days or more prior to the start date of the class. If a student notifies MGC less than 15 days prior, no tuition can be refunded. Membership and materials fee are non-refundable.
